Had a great weekend spending time with my wife Heather, my daughter Suzy and her friend Jordan. Trout fishing is what they wanted and that's what they got. Started out Saturday before day light making the 45 minute run to the croker boat to get out live Crokers and Shrimp and thank goodness we did. We hit a half dozen spots only picking up a couple here and there until we found the mother load, but all they wanted was live shrimp on bottom carolina rigged. All I can say is don't go without some kind of live bait. 15 of the 60 trout were caught of double rigged plastic minnows all the rest were caught on live shrimp.
