I woke up this morning looking at the radar and it looked rough in the sound. Lucky for Mr. RIchard Wilson, his son Blake, and their good friend Sal, it started breaking up around daybreak. I pointed the bow of the Skeeter due South and started at the same rig where we have been nailing them the last few days. The bite was slow and we only put twelve in at the first stop. We made a move to another wellhead in the area and hit a really good lick. The count was 71 when we left that rig because the spanish and the throwbacks were eating up. We made a short move to another wellhead down-current, and got on another good bite. With 100 in the box, we headed for the house. On the way, we passed a large grass patch with a bunch of seaweed and dead fish. We slowed the boat down, drifted across it and were able to hook up with two 3-5lb triple tail! What a great bonus on an already incredible day!
All fish were caught under a cork on Campo’s live shrimp!!!
The Trout bite is incredible right now!
