I can only imagine the kids had a awesome time. Now that's a day I can hook my 9yr old for life on bass fishing. Where is this place?

This is in Venice. Some very nice sportsmen who know the place well told us a few spots to try and we caught fish everywhere we tried. My daughter has only bass fished maybe 10 times and never flipped up close like that. My nephew LOVES to fish but doesn't have access to many places where he lives in TX. Both quickly got the hang of flipping into the canes at close range and with the bite so good they had enough action to keep them excited and motivated. Great times!

I've never bass fished there, only speaks, reds & ducks. We're heading to Grand Isle in the morning, just I'm heading the wrong way again. Hehehe

Venice is great. Sunday we caught snapper in the morning and bass in the evening. Flipping purple and white 6' worm. They really fired up right at sunset.

We were fishing downriver. The water is green and beautiful and when the tide brings the water down the bass are coming out to the edge of the roseau's and have voracious appetites. Anywhere with current should work fine. No secret spots, it's all good
