Live shrimp or pogies
I would like to ask if any one knows any where Live bait can be bought after 10:00 or 11:00 o clock tonight on the way to grand isle. If not where might I try my cast net and pick up a few shrimp untill the bait houses open in the AM?

NO live bait needed for bridge
Stop at Wal Mart and get some shiney hineys. Theyre a bait used mostly for bream and such. Silver color lead head with silver feather tail. bought in a single pack on a tear off display. Tear em up all night with em. Make sure u buy more than one.

pogies
I can GUARANTEE you that you can catch all the pogies you want at the fourchon public boat launch. Throw your cast net in the back down ramps at night and you will load up on pogies and catch a few shrimp each throw as well.

No I want to fish the GI bridge late tonight the hit Elmers in the AM I can get the bait for Elmers in the morning , but heard the trout have been on the bridge starting around 2:00 AM
