Alot of you guys saying its crowded are prolly hunting running up bayou la loutre into stump lagoon etc..i usually duck off in st malo through bayou muscellini and then i run for another 6 miles through bays, lagoons, about 25 turns, around weirs to the spot i hunt and theres only one other guy that hunts about 500 yds away from where i hunt and they dont go all that often, they actually have a blind built in a pothole whereas i hunt the broken marsh in a boat blind. Only when the water is high when its low you have to hunt the potholes. PPl complain about high water i love it because the broken marsh is usually on fire. Im going to hunt some new areas this year thoguh ive already scouted in march to many ponds to hunt.
Yeah i notice in the middle of the wma there more teal which prolly ill teal season in themiddle however where i hunt for big ducks its more salty almost 90 percent grey ducks...people dont belive that you kill limits of greys but i keep telling them they start flying good around 8 oclock...some reason the spot i hunt sucks at daylight they got nothing flying then about mid morning they start coming in to rest big time.
Gotta use a boat to get to PAC.
