Boy these guys did a great job of catching their trout! By 9:00 we had 425 trout caught. In actuality, we had 325 speckled trout and 100 white trout.

Today I had Capt. Jason and Capt. Casey give me a hand with Jeff Reid's guests. And what a fantastic job the captains did. When Jeff and his guests arrived yesterday, they arrived to a Cajun Seafood boil of crabs and shrimp with all of the trimmings. They spent the night at the lodge and woke up this morning to start their adventure. And boy what an adventure.

Capt. Jason and his group fished the edge of the Breton Sound. And, Capt. Casey and I fished Battledore. The fish were stacked up. As fast as we could throw the line they were reeling the fish back in.

All fish were caught 2' under a popping cork using Campo's live shrimp. The shrimp are running a little small right now, since there is a new crop coming out of the marsh. But, that doesn't matter. The fish are tearing the shrimp up.
