Old Penn Reels
Guys my grandfather gave me some old Penn Reels, most work and a few don't. I would like to see about getting them cleaned up and working again. Is there anyone on the northshore that works on reels?

pro sports on julia
Ill second prosports in nola but hold your breath when you walk in. That place stinks with cigarette smoke and they are constantly smoking in there.

'Old Pro Shop'
...they good people...I've seen Ocean City and J.C.Higgings parts besides Penn over there...try 504-522-3771...they once had a shop on Union or Perdido St that had a few old pics on the wall...let me know if they have them hanging on Julia St...thanks/cheers

Old Penns are fantastic, got a few new spinning reels and burned out the drags on two of them on the first trip. Can not hold a mangrove fight. Piece of trash!

I would make the trip to Professional Sports on Julia street, they know what they are doing, also go to Penn's web site and look up service centers.
