Fishing still been pretty good out of the Lake of Late. The few trout we hitting on the tracks are pretty solid, averaging 19' . The trout are really liking the incoming tide on the trestle. On the falling tide we have been running to the rigolets but as soon as it comes in we have been doing well on the tracks. Yesterday me and the DockSide Gang made a quick noon trip to catch that incoming tide. Armed with Matrix Shad's only (Midnight Mullet) and storms all over, we hoped in the little reno skiff and headed in-between storms and dropped the trolling motor. We made two long drifts before another equal ran us off and we boated 9 big trout and a drum. Pretty good plastic bite going on right now for dead of summer heat.
Check out pics of 9 good ones from yesterday and a nice catch from capt. Eric last week on DockSide Live
