Schoolmaster snapper
The fish in the picture is a schoolmaster snapper. Mangroves do not have the blue horizontal stripe on each side of their face like the fish in the picture.

They do not carry same regulations as red snapper. The minimum length on mangrove snapper is 12 inches with a bag limit of 10 per person vs red snapper minimum length of 16 inches with only 2 allowed per person.
