No words can describe the trout bite going on Down in Dularge right now, unreal is all I can say. We ran a two boat night trip with Cody Lenert and crew. On the big Bluewave I had Cody Lenert, Benny Jeansonne, Joe Simpson, and Gary Abrams. The guys put on a CLINIC whacking and stacking the fish. The YETI could only fit 90 trout, as we had to put the remaining 35 fish in a basket. All nice trout like we have been catching with many going four pounds. All fish caught on double rigged plastics with a steady retrieve. Cocodrie Cocahoes, Matrix Shad, and TTF Killer Flats Minnows crushed the yellow mouths (avocado and cajun pepper colors worked best). Capt Joel Wakeland ran the second boat with the other half of the crew whacking their 125 limit also. Everyone had a blast and could not get over how awesome the fishing is down here.
