Inshore Fishing in Cocodrie / DuLarge in South Central Louisiana
Linda getting her groove on
DJ not letting his mom out fish him!
Late post 7/1/12
I've had some issues posting so that is the reason for the delay. Sunday I had Linda LeCompte on board with her husband Phil, her son DJ, and his girlfriend Mona. We left early to make sure we got a livewell full of croakers and then off to search for a consistent bite. The first spot had bait busting the surface but unfortunately a lot of small trout. We culled thru them for about 20 minutes only to put a handful on ice. Not liking the little trout I moved in search of larger trout. Fortunately after a couple moves I found a nice mess of hogs. Never fast and furious for any length of time but with 4 people fishing croakers they had me running all over, netting, baiting, and retying. Of course the trash fish made their presence known all day. We had 3 flounder as lagniappe and the crew got to battle around 8 smaller sharks which they loved! I've got a couple videos to work on and will post when they're done. Good Luck fishing!
