Over the weekend we had the Rexell company down for their annual fishing trip. They drive in from Lafayette and get to Falgout landing at 7am. We had three boat loads of fishermen and headed out in search of redfish and bass. Our first stop where we left them biting the day before, the tide was going the wrong way and the fish had scattered back into the marsh. We made a slight adjustment and it was on!!!! 1/2oz gold spoons had the reds and bass going nuts. After the morning bite played out we made a few moves and found a steady bite to finish out a 8 man limit of redfish, some bass and a dozen trout. The guys had a great time as always. Thanks Capt. Ryan Young and Capt. Travis Miller for running the other boats. The Rexell guys had high praises for you guys. Right now the fishing is off the charts, we can catch a Dularge grand slam...trout, redfish and bass all in the same day.
