What kind of fishing are you looking to do?

I'm wanting to go next weekend before red snapper closes. Then after that I want to catch anything I can, mangrove, cobia, I would love to catch some yt's but probably out of my range. How far out are they?

Launch at Sand Dollar....exit Barataria pass and head SE until you hit 150-175 ft of water (bout 30 miles).....several rigs and all full of snapper

ps---you probably dont even have to go that far, but the bigger ones are a little deeper

I do mostly inshore fishing in G.I so Im not too sure. I have hit a few of the close in rigs off of G.I. beach and caught mangroves though.
I fish offshore out of Venice. We caught limits of Red Snapper and a few cobia last time out so if you are interested in some spots there I can help you out..If you need a fishing partner or any other info let me know.
