What I don't understand is all the people that ask how to get to a ramp in the spillway. Once you launch your boat, where are you going to go? The spillway isn't a place to just go ride around in, especially as low as it is. Like the old saying goes, 90% of the fish live in 10% of the water. It's not like it's a lake, there are hundreds of canals. Some you can run in, some you can't. They ALL look the same. Better have a good map and not be going off of what your boss' barber's, nephew's, uncle tells you...
Thats exactly why I check the paper to see where they put so I know where not to go! I know its some pretty entertaining stuff though watching all the people launch, you know the ones that only go once or twice a year when they read it in the advocate. I know one time this year I was waiting to launch and one guy cranked up his motor while waiting. The next thing you know they had almost the whole line of people cranking and revving up there motors on land like a chain reaction. Thats all my buddy and I could do was shake our heads in disbelief.
JB couldn't agree with you more cartoons are funny on Saturday but nothing like going to the boat ramp.
