henderson can launch at any of the levee launch or between the interstate at the butte larose exit.

I fished False River and Old River a couple months ago. Picked up a few nice sacs in the old river and struck out on everything in the bayou on the east side of false river. The wind had the lake pretty rough to fish it. rnI'm not sure where to put in around Manchac and the Blind River, I'd like to try them out. Hoping to make a trip around Pigeon with a buddy Monday. My wife is on my ass to take her somewhere tomorrow. I'd like to go back to Pelba, how's the water there? I heard the river at Morgan City needs to be around 3.5' on the fall to do good. I got a new gos in my boat now so I'm going to start venturing out further. rnI grew up fishing Bundicks lake and Toledo Bend, when I was young. Then my dad got hooked on redfish. Spent the last 25yrs fishing Big Lake and the marsh around Hackberry. rnThanx for all the tips, and if anyone wants a tag a long or jump in my boat I'll be glad to go.

manchac is much much better in spring....but summer, early morning/late evening aint too bad...

the rivers are good too...tickfaw can be pretty good...same thing though, early and late...

Bayou Sorrel spillway. Plenty of canals close to the landing. Henderson a good option also.

you can hit the lower Amite around Clio and Cartridge Bluff. Put in at Chinquapin landing (old state landing in Maurepas) and go through the Old River to get to it. I am not sure if the Clio landing is still open or not to the public. But there is good bass fishing and bream fishing

I fished Pete's landing yesterday and had good luck with about 40 bream , 3 bass , and 11 sacs . We used gulp baits of all sorts and they were hitting on everything that touched the water.
