...that's my point,it's pure and simple greed between manufacture and dealer...one would think they would want the idenity exposure to future sales after making a few thousand...never wear a cap or shirt w/a product or business name on it, (unless it's free or they rent 'da spot on 'ya head) ???...cheers ???
P/S...I bet they would have given you a extra decal set if you had asked for them at a critical time between your sales write-up and a few seconds before your signature...(it does make some salesmen 'sneak back' into the stock room)???...anyway,new decals that was stored always works wonders when you sell a boat...cheers
Dealers name on product.
I worked with a man who's wife made the dealer take the name emblem off of her new Buick, This was in the '70's. they had to take it to the body shop to fill and paint the holes. She wasn't advertising for free.
fake story. the dealer stuff on the car is a sticker, not punched through the metal. Back in the day, the manufacturer badges were mounted through the sheet metal, but the dealer installed logos were just stickers. Someone told your bud told you a tall tale. I sold cars/trucks for nearly 20 years. I had many people who bought cars/trucks and didn't want the Lamarque stuf on it. We would just peel it off and use some goo gone to take off the remaining glue.
I love to see these fake stories.
take a picture and measue the length, width and height and take it to a computer graphics place and have them make u one!!!!
