Fished with my Bride Friday morning in some duck ponds off of Bayou DuPont with a stiff east wind. We were using gold bladed spinner baits with costal tackles “Morning Glory” color soft plastic. The water was clear and about 1 ½ feet higher then normal. I was able to get into some ponds that are normally inaccessible which made for a field day for us. My Bride smoked me on the bigger Reds and it was a blast to watch her fight those beast!
