Yea Marshrat I agree... Sounds like a lawyer to me!!! I know a lot of commercial fisherman, BP has compensated everybody that I know way more than they expected... I understand that some peple and businesses did actually suffer, and for those who played by the rules I think BP has taken care of them... I also understand that the whole blowout should have and could have been prevented, but come on, enough is enough!!
I think if you had damage from the oil spill, whether property or financial, I think you already know.
If you have to pick up a phone to call and 'see IF' you qualify, then you probably don't deserve a dime.
Its all the people that jump on the bandwagon trying to get all they can for free, that makes it tough for the people that truely deserve compensation to get what they are owed.
...if someone gets into a accident you just don't let them lay there an bleed while waiting on an insurance settlement...I feel the Feds and the State could have done more in the early stages and repaid on the back end...there were some agencies that could have turned loose millions in low cost loans, yet they left it sit while many people exhausted savings or were forced to sell property...considering reputation there are lots of full freezers with washed money...cheers
Less all jump on the bandwagon and run BP and all the other oil companies, THAT PAY MOST OF OUR SALARIES, out of the state. Heck we don't need them, we can live off the lawsuits and government the rest of our lives.
