Just watched the BASS pro's on TV fishing on TB. This sure helps me with my friends when we talk about fishing. I seldom fish the bank and like to run and gun with my trolling motor looking for humps and weed beds. While watching this show not one pro leader fished the bank and all used the foot model trolling motor. Every time I had a group at TB when the fishing got slow they would get on my case about the fact that they needed to throw at something. Many years ago when the trolling motors first came out there was a major problem with the cable breaking. Several pro's showed up with a hand held model as there was no cable. Well that problem has been solved on my bass boat I have one that is 10 years old and no problems. I also like sitting in the lazy boy and working my motor with a big toe and saving my back. I never would be able to get that Karate kick down.
