With 15 to 20 kt east/southeast wind everyday for the last week, this is the report...Redfish! The water is high, which allows us access into ponds that are inaccessible in low water conditions. Yeah, the high winds are keeping us out of the sound for now, so i guess the trout are safe. This is bad news for the reds. Fished yesterday afternoon with my friend Capt. Greg Henry and ended the day with 10 reds and 5 drum. Fished today with my deer-hunting friend, David Rathe and caught 10 reds and 1 drum in 2 stops. Tons of fun when you’re looking to bend a pole in high winds!

All fish were caught under a cork on Campo’s live shrimp!!!
The Redfish bite is incredible right now and it’s not that hot yet.
