Coon Dog
Was looking to get into coon hunting and have been looking to get my first puppy to train. Been having a hard time finding one in louisiana so decided to try here. If you have a puppy for sale or could point me in the right direction to find one I'd apperciate it. Not looking for the best bred dog something not to expensive since this is my first and I'll be learning. Leave an email if you got some info for me.

I highly recommend getting a Blackmouth Cur. They are great dogs and excellent hunters.

Thanks for the info. What breed are the puppies and do you know the price range? Anymore info from others is still welcomed. Also is that his house number or cell. I'm at work if it's his cell and he receives text I could get in touch with him.

If I were you I would get a treeing walker ... I don't coon hunt any more but have had most every breed and treeing walker is the smartest , best coon dogs I've fooled with and if I ever decided to get back in it , it would be with one of those . Blue ticks are ok and red bones and black and tans or ok too but none can compete with a treeing walker . There are people that still hunt around but getting fewer and fewer .
Beware of dog traders and be choosy when getting a dog whether you are new to it or not ! You don't wanna waste your time and money on a $&?@ eater if you know what I mean ! Good luck !
