Sporting Clays Tournament
The Muscular Dystrophy Association will be holding its 1st Annual 'Hit The Clay For MDA' Sporting Clays Tournament benefitting the local members of our community with neuromuscular disease. Event details are as follows:
Location: Covey Rise Hunting Lodge
Date: Saturday, October 6th
Individual Entry Fee: $200 (Day of Event)
Individual Entry Fee: $160 (Prior To Event)
Team Participation Fee: $640
There are a limited number of slots available so call us immediately at (225) 761-7010, email batonrouge@mdausa.org or mail an interest form & registration fee to the local MDA office at: 8126 One Calais Ave. #1C Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
All proceeds directly benefit the local members of our community with muscle disease providing a variety of programs & services such as the week long summer camp session as seen in the video below.
**MDA is a 501(3)c non-profit organization and as such is a tax exempt to the fully extent of the law.

Thank you all for the support and wonderful comments; George is an avid outdoorsman with a true passion for hunting and fishing. George will actually be a participant in the Sporting Clays Tournament and is extremely excited about the opportunity to take home First Place in the Children's division.
Funds raised through the tournament & donations we receive allow us to provide a number of services such as medical service programs, health care support services, advocacy & educational programs, durable medical equipment, and a week long Summer Camp session for local children with Muscular Dystrophy just like George!

I can't make the tournament, but after watching this video, I immediately wrote out a small donation check to MDA. Watch the video and you will want to do the same.
We take so many things for granted and its stuff like this that makes you stop and think. I still have goose-bumps.
