pretty good throwing beetlespin type lures. From your picture not as good as you and your buddy. I've been using 1/32 size but mostly catching bull brim/bream.

What size are you using and do you use gold blades or regular? I'm just curious I'm going tomorrow and fishing primarily with beetlespin/gold blade.

CajunSteve: Congratulations! This is my favorite way to catch sacalait and bream, casting with artificial lures. You must have caught them in relatively shallow water; I would have thought the sacs would be in deeper water by now. I sometimes catch sacalait this way at Toledo Bend, usually in the early spring. It's so much more fun than catching them deep.
