Flounder gigging in Merapaus??
Heard rumors of people gigging flounder in lake Merapaus...anyone ever heard of this? I could see it with tr salinity levels rising but flounder arent like redfish they normally inhabit high salinity level waters; or at least that's always been my understanding...any input/info is appreciated thanks.

i never went gigging myself but i thought you needed a contrasting bottom to see the flounder?
when gigging along the beach the sand is light colored so you see them but in mud how can you see them?

It's possible
I went bowfishing there after hearing stories of saltwater fish coming in, we saw a lot of stingrays, a few blue crabs, and some ladyfish, so it's possible
