We did it again!! Made a hunt with the guys to Three Rivers today and finally found the hogs. After talking all week and pulling stalkers leg to go to my spot he gave in. All we needed was a boat and a prayer.. WE got up with Lyle and Cliff and headed in with the boat.

We pulled the boat to the first ridge, jump out the boad and wham, hog grunting and running with the curs trailing, dog lost the hog in the water. Dang!! We trailed hogs for another few hours more and nothing.. Lyle sudgested go further down, so we did with lots and lots of cussin and strugglin through the flooded timber we finally found it. We come up on a ridge that looked like a D4 Dozer made its way through the briar patches. WOW!! We all jump out like rats on acid and headed in into the briars. Hog after hog running like crazy all over the place. The dogs did all they could but they never bayed a hog. There was just way to much water. After splitting up on the ridge I finally stepped on a 100 pound hog and blew a few holes in him with the shotgun, Stalker finished him off with some lead shot.. All in all we finally found the hogs and made a heck of a last hunt for the season. Hopefully next year will be just as good.
