Inshore Fishing in Fourchon / Grand Isle in Southeast Louisiana

Fishing Grand Isle

Wanting to make a trip next week end to take my new daughter in law and show her the grand isle area.
she's never been saltwater fishing before.
going to be fishing from the bank and road side . Anyone got an up to date report that can help me out???
Would like to put her on some fish.

Hey

This time of year I'd usually either fish with market shrimp for the black drum and also hardheads, but if it's cold enough, try some of the deeper pitts along the road just past the Fourchon turnoff on the right for speckled trout, usually using cocahoes.
