What kind of paint is taht it looks good.

It is a lead free, industrial quick dry coating that i get from vida paint. The color is "dead grass green flat". The stuff is awsome. I used it on my boat as well. Just make sure what your painting is clean and dry, slap on the paint and it will be dry in about 30 minutes. I didn't have a paint brush so i had to us a dish sponge to paint the pirogue and it still looks good. lol

Have any of you all hunted out of a pirogue? How do you do it, and how was it?

Well cap.... that was my origanal plan. Fix it and sale it and get a wider and shorter one. But now that i got it all fixed up, i kind of like it. I aint put it in the water yet so i'm gona do that first and see how it works for me. If it rides to low or just dont feel right for me, i'll post it in the classifieds on this site.

I had one a few years back. I miss the hell out of it too.

Why does it have #'s on it?

Not sure. It had the date 08-20-99 on one side and the name justin on the other. I just painted over them.

What kind of gorilla glue did you use? Is it the one you use with water? i sure like your idea for the PVC.I also have cracks around the rails on mine.
