One more thing, The same people never cleanup there crap off the road when there done. So what happens is someone gets a flat tire. This has also happened to me. Again in Montegut.

Our state really is a sportsman's paradise. Yet it still has too many ignorant selfish lazy fools in it who will sooner or later ruin things for the rest of us. Whether it be a washing machine on a back road, bud light cans in the ditch, unpumped sewer plants dumping into the ditch that smell like crap, cigarette butts at a stop light or crab lines left on the dock etc etc etc, we all know trash when we see them.

BTW I had the same thing happen near Fisherman's Paradise. I think the fool didnt realize his mower works in both directions.

It should be legal just to beat the crap out of some people just for being an idiot. My problem is road rage. I was approaching a red light on the way to work early one morning on a 4 lane major highway. The light up ahead of me is red, with one truck stopped in the right lane. Left lane's open, so I shift over to the left. Well, the light goes green while I'm at least 100 yards away. I'd eased on the brakes preparing to stop, but let off when the light changed. The truck on the right lane just gets moving as I approach the light. Well, from the left, some guy just flat-out blows through the light INCHES in front of the guy on my right and maybe 3 or 4 feet ahead of me. He had LOTS of time to stop. Not like the light changed right on him. He was going so fast, I'm convinced had I not slowed a bit driving up to the light, I'd have been T-boned on my side and killed. I don't see how he didn't hit the truck on my right which was already stopped. It all happened so fast, I don't think anybody put the brakes on when he ran the light. I got a bit down the road and actually was tempted to try and catch this idiot and beat the crap out of him. Not the smartest thing to do, but I wanted to. It actually shook me up for a few minutes until I calmed down.

well next time you ride by and see somebody causing trouble on their riding lawn mower. Have yourself a nice size pebble, next make sure your window is down...and you throw that thing as if you were pitching for the Orioles. LOL

you are 100% right!!! these people are giant morans, without any common sense whatsoever!! the mistake you made was not stopping and calling the police, so this moran could pay for the damages!! after that, he might have cut grass a different way and used a little sense? i have seen some people, when cutting grass and its shooting to the road, stop cutting and let the vechicle go by, but very few!! i have neighbors here, that for some unknown reason cut and throw all the grass in the street and just leave it in the street, like it's o.k.??? there are morans everywhere, even your neighbors!! my son-in-law bought a brand new truck about 6 months ago. his truck was 3 days old and like you say, some moran cutting grass, pointed toward the highway, bam, a rock hit in the middle of his drivers door! he stopped and called the police! well, it cost that guy around $500 to fix his door!!!! and get this, the guy on the lawnmower was peed, because he called the police? he just kept saying it was just an accident, why should i have to pay, go figure!!! i bet, he don't point it toward the road anymore??

for the lawn mower idiot, I used to be pretty good as a teenager hitting road signs with Budweiser Pony bottles, maybe we should practice up.....................

My elderly neighbor across the road had a man cutting her grass and one day I am sitting in my recliner minding my own business and hear my front door break. I walk over to the idiot and tell him what he has done and I called the police. The police told me I would have to take this jack ass to small claims court and a attorney told me if I was to win it was up to me to collect my money from him. The jack ass agreed to pay for my front door but then reneged. I have never seen a grown man run so fast in my life when he saw that I was about to beet the 200$ out of him. He hauled but behind the womans house whom he was mowing for. He still had better not cross me in the country or he will get his.

I ended up with a busted windshield, and was told it would cost more to go after the person on the mower than to replace it myself.

I came home from work one day to find my yard flooded with water. Looked under the house and water was gushing out. I then shut the water off and crawed under there in the mud and water to find the pipe was shattered. Right next to the pipe was a chunk of limestone about the size of a softball. Started looking around and you could see the Parish had come by bushhogging that day. Now I cut the grass along the road in front of my house. You could not even tell but from the drag marks of the bushhog that he has pasted in my yard. The grass was to short for him to cut. I call the Police Jury and they payed to fix the line with no problem. What the guys was trying to do by cutting the grass there I do not know. I'm guessing he was just to lazy to pick it up or turn it off. LOL Just thing of what that rock would have done to someone being hit by it. could have easly killed them.

on a small lot i used to own, I used to fling the grass into the yard while cutting....problem was, I busted a window on my car while it was under the carport...and another time, I shattered my storm door glass (had to replace the entire door). I -- from that point on, flung the grass into the street. If a car was passing parrell with me...I stop...but other than that, I was a wide open moron... : )
