Never rode in the the 2400, but I been in my friends 2200 Pure Bay and I think his Pure Bay is a strong built boat with a great ride. His 2200 Blue Wave Pure Bay has a better ride than my Blazer Bay 2220 Fisherman. Never been offshore with his boat so I can't comment on how it handles offshore. I don't think you can go wrong with the 2400 Pure Bay.
I have owned a 244 magnum for two years now and I have no compliants at all I have owned several center consol boats and by far I have enjoyed my blue wave the best it has the T-top, with the yamaha 250 on good water with a slight chop she will do between 47 to 52, as big as she is I still am amazed at how shallow she will go.
I live in alexandria and I use it in the red river where I put in I have to go through a cut to get to the river which is ussauly about 18' just jack up the motor and ease right through
I've been chartering out of Port Sulphur this summer running a 2400 Pure Bay and I can tell u I am very impressed with it. Also nothing but compliments from customers about the layout and storage. I bought mine from Souther Outdoors in Thibodeaux and would definately recommed them. Its an awsome boat and moderately priced compared to other high end 24' Bay Boats. Good Luck!
I think they are the #1 selling boat in Texas, but have never been in one. Looks like they are making a better boat than they were a few years back. Ask them to bring you on a test ride.
