Had a great time practicing friday with Johnny Long and Kyler Moppert. We caught some good fish in Lake P. aka. "The Bering Sea". Sat. my partner (John Hebert)and I opted to go after big fish instead of numbers and like the mighty Casey, we struck out. We had a good time and quit early to go see the East VS. West weighin. Left before our weighin, but heard there were some nice fish caught. Congrats to all who placed and survived the waves. Can't wait till next tourney.
All I know about it the top 3 but hopefully we can get to total results in from John.
1st-Chas's BOAT
2nd-Mojo's BOAT
3d-Johns BOAT
Like said earlierthere were some good trout weighed in considering the conditions.
It was a real back breaker weekend and glad everyone made it back safe.

Wayne, it was good fishing with you too buddy. I can't believe we didn't land a fish at the trestles Saturday morning after tearing them up Friday night. That's why it's called fishing.
Y'all are gonna die when you see John and my weigh-in results for the tourney! Haha, Hilarious!
Congratulations to everyone that did well in that weather on Saturday. We could all learn a lot from you.

Gary I was told at the time of the tourney was not entered in the tourney.Maybe something changed. If he was then he did get 2nd.
He and Chas both had beautifull boxes of fish.
I thought our box was pretty,(it was from what we usually do out there) until we saw theirs.
I spoke with John about some possible confusion because the ones that fished both tourneys that day had the advantage of another fisherman on their boat, including me.
I myself don't think my boat should be elgible to place in the geaux coastal tourney because of this.
Maybe someone else has an idea?

I was wondering the same thing? I assume it was the same as the E vs W because they had it on the same day?
