Wind Gods

The wind just keeps playing games with me. Was driving across the Causeway this evening after work and the wind finally settled down, or at least I thought it did. Water looked somewhat calm and color was not too bad considering the amount of wind we have been having. So I thought I would give it a try. Got a yard pass, picked up the boat and headed to the launch. Got to the Causeway, dropped the trolling motor and made the first cast, BAM got nailed right away but missed trying to fight the wind that all of a sudden appeared. About a dozen casts and a few more missed bites later I am in 2-3 footers bouncing all over the place. Needless to say I got out of there. Hope the others who were out today had better luck. Good luck to THE EAST BOYS and my fellow Geaux Coastal Saltwater Club members this Saturday.

Looks like we might get a break for the Tournament Saturday.
