hey white champ, whats the number to the guyden hunting club? do you know what the price is for each hunt?
man im not real sure, i can call my buddy tomorrow and ask him and get back to you on that
i just looked up the number on anywho... its 337-536-6352... again, i would request jacob habitz, and if not him then greg, personally i think that there the two best over there, but that just me
k man. thanx a bunch i appreciate it. how has your hunting been so far this year?
counting teal season and 1st split we had 412 ducks out of two blinds... second split is slow though we only have 39
correction, it was 312 duckscounting teal season and first split, i just caught that,ha, sorry bout that
dang man! you one lucky man! hah that beats me! i know its pretty sad but i only have 27. ive only gotten to hunt a couple times this year though. i just moved from Alexandria to baton rouge over the summer and i just can't find a place to duck hunt around here. im only 15 so i have one more year until i can hit all the public places around Baton Rouge. i have a lab i have been trainin and she is ready to hunt. hah now all i gotta do is find a place to bring her. where do you hunt?
we hunt in lebeau... if you can get in touch with "bigtrax" or it might be "bigtracks" on here, i know he hunts in batoun rouge... good luck the rest of the year, and keep in touch and let me know how you do the rest of the year
I thought i was the only one up at this time of night. haha the night shift sux
haha its not bad during hunting season b/c i get to hunt in hte mornins but other than that, i cant stand it
Its nice to get off and run to the stand for a quick morning hunt if you can stay awake that is. haha where do you work?
im not much of a mornin deer hunter, i prefer to duck hunt in the mornin and deer in the afternoon, but im at a machine shop around the opelousas area
I work in broussard. a buddy of mine lets me deer hunt his family land around Inracoastal. I deer hunt until the 2nd split then i start to duck hunt. I wish i had a place to duck hunt.
your work at a machine shop, if so which one?
Im a dispatcher for a casing company. I went out to lacassine this weekend but the good holes were filled with hunter so we had to settle for one that had no ducks flying over.
that sucks, a buddy of mine made a couple of hunts in those good holes, nothin but big ducks
next time i'll just wake up and get there for 4am and hope no one starts some crap about thats there hole they hunt and they did all the work and i should leave cause i have no respect for them. lol
i heard that some game wardens been getting in some blinds at like three a.m. and when people tell them to leave they write em up, because its first come first serve
Its about time. I reaqly cant afford a lease and thats why i hunt there. I respect other hunters i dont go and set up around them if there first but if i get there and no one is there then I hunt it. I wanted to pull some plugs in there boats so bad last year but then i would be just as bad as them. tempting, funny, worth it but just not the right thing to do
do the right thing and it always pays off in the end. theres no doubt about that... but good luck the rest of the season and keep intouch, let me know how yall do
I'll call your budy at gueydan huntin club. If you find out a price let me know.
no problem, mr bennit is probly gonna answer when you call the club but just request jacob habitz, hes good
