5:00 pm yesterday, i heard the snow crunching when i used my can call, and two does came running in about 10 yards away. 125 lb. doe. = deer sausage!

yeah, it was kinda weird trying to sneak into the woods with all the snow on the ground, i figured i had made way too much noise on the way in with all the crunching to see a deer.

Congrats. I went to the stand as well. Figured i won't get many opportunities to hunt in the snow. All i saw was a button buck at 4:30. He came out in the field and after about 5 minutes something in the thicket scared the hell out of him and poof he was gone. Whatever scared him never came out though. All in all it was a cold, but pleasant experience.

Good job Big Tracks! Thats gonna be some fine eatin. It sure must have been neat hunting in the snow. Us southern boys aren't used to that!
