G Zeringue all chevys have a 3 year 36,000 mi. bumper to bumper warr. and a 5 yr. 100,000 mi. powertrain warr. If you are under 36,000 miles it should be covered under warr. you also should check and see if you bought an extended warr. you would be suprised how many people can't remember if they have bought an extended warr. If you want you can call me at BANNER Chevy. (504)242-2000 or best # to call me on is my cell (504)352-0995 I will see what I can do.
Good Luck,

The brake light switch could very well be the problem but the brake lights also run through the turn signal switch on the older chevys and I am pretty sure it does on the newer ones too. I own a mechanic shop and change lots of turn signal switches on chevy vehicles for brake light problems. Make sure you check every fuse b/c they might get voltage from another circuit also. Good luck!
These pieces of cr4p! Four hours labor at 90$ an hour to no avail! I still have no brake lights, the guy says, we had them working and we put the fuse box back in and now they don't work. So he wants $1150.00 to replace the fuse box. Well I lost it. I told him to shove it, I will figure out a way to rig it, jump it or something.
Stop- DO NOT PAY THE DEALER ANY MONEY.
You brought the truck in to have a problem fixed/repaired.If they DID NOT repair/fix the probem, do not pay them. Plain & simple. I have a tree to cut down. If the contractor can not cut it down, I will not pay him to make an attempt. If they will not return the vehicle till paid, write a check ,get ur vehicle, then stop payment on the check.
Unless you put more than 36000 miles on the truck in a year, the issue should be covered under warranty. Why in the heck are you paying for something that would definately be covered by the warranty. It is 2007 model. Pay for nothing, and have them fix it. Brake light switch, wiring harness, fuse block, engine, transmission, rear end, muffler bearing, or whatever. IT IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY. THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD YOU THAT AT THE DEALERSHIP.
Also, tell them to give you a loaner unitl it is fixed.
might be a shortage in the wires, thats the only other thing i can think of
