That will be a great looking mount. I have my name on one that showed up on my camera last month. I hope to get him too. Have you talked to a taxidermist and do you know what a body mount would cost? Just wondering if I can afford it...

If you got one mounted for $200, you got a good price. I shot one a few years ago and called several Taxidermists and from what I remember most of the prices were around $350.

I ended up giving it to someone on this site that did taxidermy but was wanting to practice a little more on Bobcats.

I know a guy who has a small part-time business and isn't trying to rip anyone off.

i'm not sure how much it's going to be, i'm actually swithing taxidermists b/c my old one was getting a little too pricey and i've seen better work. i had a friend that got 2 bobcats mounted last year fighting each other, we're going to go pick his mount up tomarrow and drop mine off. i've been after a bobcat for years, and i finally got one, and with a bow makes it that much better.

In the last two years I have seen at least 10 bobcats (maybe the same ones just on different days) but I have always held off not wanting to spook the deer. This year they are going to fall to the silent dead from the stick and string!!!!!!

had a bobcat mounted last year and another one the first year they legalized killing bobcats, Both were 325 but i remember them charging extra if you want the mouth open

Let me know how that mount comes out. I shot two last year one afternoon with a .22. There was hardly any damage and thought it was cool to get two in a hunt so I wanted to get them both mounted. Anyone got any suggestions on what positons I should mount them in, cant decide.

I thought it was one per season. Oh well....

hey bowman with a cat you can't go wrong. any position will look good if it's done right. a guy i mounted some rams for was telling me about a guy he knew who went sit in a deer stand with a .22 just in case he saw a bobcat...that wouldn't be you would it?
