Thank's guy's. I'm coming from Port Arthur and don't want to drive the I-10 route to fish big lake.

Bob.......there are 2 boat ramps at Cameron. I don't know the condition but I think I have seen reports where people have used them.
East side of ship channel.......on the road to the Jetties there is a ramp. This ramp is only about a mile from the Jetties. Must watch for big Crew boats that come by and really move some water that can bang up your boat. Sea weeds/grass piles up on the ramp which sometimes must be moved to allow the tires to get better traction when pulling your boat out.
West side next to the Ferry crossing.........this ramp does not have very many crew boats but is farther from the Jetties if that is where you are going.
