Fished Pointe a la Hache for the last 10 days. Specks are scattered picking up 1 or 2 at each location. Reds are running good, but are staying in the grass. Actually trolled over several, with their heads down in the grass.Live minnows pulled them out only when they were swimming good for a very slow bite. Capt.Solar is correct, the water from Cox Bay to American Bay (depending on the wind) all the way out to Stone Island is still muddy from the river input near the twin pipelines.If you launch this area, go north east to find good water.From Oak River and up the water is great.Good luck and great fishing!!!
