Had decent window of opportunity and launched Chapman pirogue at 3 Rivers Launch just a tad before 6:00 am,hoping to find some hefty T Funky chunks but could readily tell by the murky water that it might be a struggle!!Met a few very nice folks last night at Bass Pro Member Appreciation Event and showed off pics of Friday's T-Funky trip but did not expect anything close to that and fished fairly hard for the 4 I came home with today,3 largemouths and 1 Kentucky bass.Had at least 3 more hooked and lost hefty Kentucky bass, probably close to 2 lbs, everything fell for Yum Swim n Dinger, black and blue.Did try Zoom Brush Hogs in few different colors and even went to exact spot that produced very fine bass Friday and only had what felt like gar grab soft plastics.Had T-Funky all to myself, love week-day fishing trips and did see very fine 24 ft Blazer Bay with 300 Suzuki 4-stroke,what a beast,at the fine camp that is rented by the week.Covered quite a bit of water today and never did find decent water, though the further S I paddled, the better-looking it got.Headed across Lake for client meeting this afternoon, will spend tonight at my mom's in Kenner and hope to hit Parish Line Canal and possibly PowerLine Pilings, weather and water conditions permitting!!!

Think best advice I could give ya is to work the bases of the fine cypress trees and do not overlook boat docks and use worms rigged Texas-style and hang on when one dem T Funky chunks chomps down. The water Friday was gorgeous and today it was miserable,.lucky to catch a bass in dat water. Took bit of grinding it out and 3 of the 4 came from bases of cypress trees. Good luck-on S Shore right now and hope to nab a few Parish Line Canal bass and possibly some PowerLines Pilings reds🍀🎣😎🐠😜
