yesterday was almost called due to high winds but when I talked to Jason about the fishing we decided to go and get these kids on some fish. OH MY what an understatement. the ride out was bumpy but better than I thought. The Skeeter handled it very well keeping all dry and comfortable while going 28mph straight into the sea. At the first stop it was an unbelievable bite going on and all Jason, Blake and I could do was to keep Luke and Riley cranking in fish. Mostly I was baiting lines and unhooking fish, and the fish were going on the floor because I had no time to put them away. I took a picture of Luke with his very first trout at 6:19 and his 25th trout at 7:09. Fifty minutes of wide open trout catching, picture taking and a lot of laughing. OH and there was a small water fight between me and Riley until I just turned the hose off. When that bite finally quit we made a little move and only found a few willing trout. It was the next move that the kids enjoyed the best. I stopped on a sand flat with about 2 feet of water and they bailed out of the boat. We then eased over about 100 yards and Luke caught his first red fish ever and as you can see in the picture he was very happy. We caught a few reds and then the trout started again and we put a few in the box. With the weather coming quickly we decided to get back to the dock. What a great day with some super kids.
