Fishing report: there were lots of different reports! Great amount of redfish and an ok amount of trout coming in today! Some people came in with nothing! Can't catch unless you come try it out! So, get on down to Sweetwater Marina! The size of the redfish coming in are pretty great! If you want a guaranteed great fishing trip, book a charter with the greatest charter captain around...Capt. Jack! He knows where the fish are, he will teach you how to catch them and he is really great with the little ones! If you are looking for some good food, come try out our food trailer...open Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Get breakfast biscuits, pulled pork sandwiches, shrimp poboys, hamburger and fries! Remember to come to Sweetwater, the second launch in Delacroix! We are a full service marina! We offer fish cleaning and packaging of your fish, we back down your boat and park your vehicle, we give rides to and from your vehicle on our golf court, we supply beautiful live shrimp, we supply tackle, ice and anything else you might need for a great day on the water, and we have non ethanol fuel at $3 per gallon...we appreciate your business!...Also, don't forget to pick up some Sweetwater gear to represent your favorite marina!...we have coozies to put you cold beer in, hoodys and shirts! LODGING INFORMATION: Our one bedroom lodges sleep up to 6 guest; it includes a galley kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, griddle, bbq pit, dining area, living room area (with 2 full sized sofasā€™, one being a sofa sleeper), free cable and Wi-Fi, and a full bathroom.
CHARTER INFORMATION: The charters run up to $750.00 for up to 4 anglers for a full day. On the charter, we provide equipment, bait, licenses, if necessary, fish cleaning and the packaging of the fish. The only thing you need to bring is your food, drinks, sunglasses, sunscreen and an empty ice chest to bring home your catch. Our captains specialize in in-shore fishing; usually, the catch consists mostly of Speckled Trout, Reds, and Bass.
