best boat blind matrial?

Bought a new boat from Mike Kliebert. Had a blind on the old boat but I wasn't a big fan of the grass matts from academy. Replacing them every year got old. Any suggestions on something better for the new blind?? Just want it to blend well and not fall apart, thanks.

I would look at Cabelas or Bass Pro. It will probably cost you a little more, but it will last longer. Incidentally, once the season ends I always removed the blind frame with the grass on it and hung high in my garage.

Good luck

grass mats

Buy some green cans spray paint but a little all over your mat to match the march and keep your grass mats in side out of the weather. I have had my fast grass mats for 4 years still look good.

I buy my grass from quackgrass.net. I used their grass for years, then I tried Avery, Fastgrass and Academy grass. Needless to say, I went back to Quackgrass this year and I was not disappointed. It is just a studier product than anything else I've tried.

It's good advice to store your blind in the up position and remove it from the frame after the season to put it somewhere dry.
