Saw 3 groups of about ten teal yesterday deep in the biloxi marsh. Not a huntable amount yet the teal were about a mile apart each flock. Lots of mottled ducks of course. No teal around goose flat which is surprising i thought id see more there but the teal were in different area. The specks are biting great in lake eugine and crooked bayou area. Anywhere you find moving water the trout are there. Had a shrimp boat working 500 yds from where i was i had never seen so much bait in the area. Super easy fishing couldnt keep the sailcats off my berkley gulp.In about an hour time i had 8 specks 7 sailcats about five lbs each and some other trash fish. It was non stop action but had to leave go to church. Goin to try go back this week. The trout were busting on top the water so bad it was incredible the bait fish jumping. I had not topwater bait but i think i would have done awesome next time i will bring some. Was really just scouting for teal then took a ride down crooked bayou for the trout. Seems like thats far enough outside to get em and always can find good calm water
