I would assume it is this way throughout much of the Spillway, but I have been fishing the Shell Cuts out of Bayou Sorrel the past few weeks and they are active and everywhere!

The water is low, so I have slowly motored through some of the canals. The motor makes those carp go nuts. It would be like a shoting gallery in there for a bow hunter. They are jumping everywhere when the motor is running. My friend started trying to catch them with a net off the bow and I have had a number come in the boat or bounce off the windshield.

Any (shallow)canal off the Atch. River should be holding the trash fish. Just idle around, they will find you.

Thanks all we have been back out 2 more times now and have found alot of Gar no more Carp but the Gar are getting Bigger goong to post more pics in the next few days with a video or 2. We are starting to get a set-up for night fishing which should be fun. Thank you again.
