08/06/2012 Hopedale Report

Another outstanding day in Hopedale!
Fishing today we had Ed, Phillip, Mitch, and I. We launched at BSM around 7:30 this morning and arrived at what my friends are now calling 'Rucker Island' around 8:15.

There was NO tide moving when we first arrived but schools of glass minnows as far as you could see. It was unreal.

The wind was non existent, overcast, and water very clean.

I had to tie on my topwater and Mitch did as well. Phillip and Ed were tossing h&h tko shrimp under a cork. We all started putting trout in the boat at a fast pace.

The fish were beautiful this morning with very few throwbacks.

After catching our 100 trout, They wanted to catch some Spanish Mackerel so we tied on shad rigs and put 25-30 in the boat and then headed back to the dock.

Wonderful day with great company!
