Can you guess the size of this monster amberjack.

This is a 75 pound jack on a High Life Tackle gold fish speed jig.
REEL LIFE FISHING
Amber jack season is back open and they are hungry and big. On Saturday I had Mickey Benoit and his gang of Miller/Coors people and they almost didn't get to leave the dock. First thing in the morning the live well didn't want to pump full out so I decided to check the thru hull fitting for a clog. Well I pulled the fitting out of the hull and had a 1' hole flowing water into the boat. After a quick trip to the trailer and a quick repair with a bolt, washers and a rubber gasket we were on our way. Yes it did leak while running but while stopped it was good. Well with a late start I made lots of bait and went straight out to the jacks. Right off the we go for our live bait only to find all of the hard tails dead. The pogies and croakers were live but the hard tails were done. Tried the pogies and all we could find were large red snapper. Then it happens a dead hard tail is sent and a big jack is hooked. One after the other the jacks are coming in and all with dead butterflied hard tails or High Life Tackle speed jigs in gold fish color. Something about the jacks they just love the gold fish jig. Biggest one on the jig was a beautiful 75 pound amberjack. The largest of the day was a giant and I will let the pictures do the talking. You guess the size.
