I launched out of hill top thursday aug 2nd and started fishing the rocks at the wier only caught one but it was a good 1 1/2 lb but I went across from the rocks and fished every log laying in the water down to a pipe line then fished the other side back to the rocks. I picked up and headed to the house around 12:00 I ended up with 9 bass that were worth fileting. Only brought 5 home for dinner. Watermelon red baby brush hogs fishing really slow. Hill top is very steep and cost $10 but canel bank is right down the road for $5 during the week. Stay out the area on weekends too many pleasure boats rolling by to be able to actually fish.
