WE FINALLY KNOW OBAMA'S POSITION ON GUN OWNERSHIP
If there was ever any doubt about Obama's position on the 2nd Amendment and individual gun ownership, read this (came out today):

A fellow professor with Barack Obama at the University of Chicago in the 1990s told radio host Laura Ingraham last week that the man who would become president once insisted, “People shouldn’t be allowed to own guns.”
That professor was John Lott, already known then as a leading gun-rights advocate and now author of several books, including “More Guns, Less Crime” and “Freedomnomics: Why the Free Market Works and Other Half-Baked Theories Don’t.”
“I knew Obama at the University of Chicago,” Lott told Ingraham. “We both taught there at the same time for about four years, and I talked to him about guns. I know what his views are on that.
“The first time I ever met him, I went, introduced myself, he said, ‘Oh, you’re the gun guy,’” Lott recalled. “He said to me, ‘I don’t believe people should be able to own guns.’”
Ingraham stopped the interview to clarify that Obama wasn’t talking about criminals owning guns but everyday citizens.

And do you think they will be conservative judges? Two more 'leftist' judges would tip the majority in favor of the 'RADICALS' and the 2nd Amendment would become 'toilet paper'! 'When asked whether Obama supported renewing the 1994-2004 federal ban of semi-automatic weapons for civilians, Carney responded,
“He does support renewing the assault weapons ban,” and he added that “there has been reluctance by Congress to pass that renewal.”

Hey pete, thanks for passing this along.
This discussion lends itself to the need of this website to have a political forum established. Other outdoor websites to which I belong have this. It would be nice to have a specific place to discuss such issues as gun control, the crappy condition of Louisiana roads, corrupt politicians that steal five-gallon buckets of money from the taxpayers and spend a few years at a 'country club style' prison, etc. and be yet be segregated from the hunting and fishing reports. Good Luck!!

Drew, what concerns me the most about Obama is all the things he's already done by 'Executive Order', WITHOUT the approval of Congress (they're too 'wimpy' to IMPEACH him). If given another term, many of us are scared Obama will 'Crown himself King' and do like Chavez did to Venezuala. These people also fell for the Obama 'Hope and Change' crap, and look what Chavez has done to their Country. He continues to get elected by controlled, crooked elections.
I don't trust Obama any further than I can throw him. It was just learned that one of his 2nd term (if re-elected) agenda items is 'GUN CONTROL'! Read this:
