I went this morning as well, launched in bayou sorrel and tried to get into th upper flats! Way to shallow for my bay, then we made it up to the achafalaya and it was on till ten. All 13 inches except one... Good trip but a lot of work for not much fish
Tell me you guys caught them fish on a red shad worm and crankbaits...? Not wanting to know where but on what kind of baits. Heard about a lady that caught a 7lb. bass from there about 8-10 years ago on a shiner and cane pole!!
I caught all my fish on red shad, and motor oil and chartruse. And on a black and blue lizard... The atchafalaya was slick as glass! Any structure that would block the current flip behind and it was almost a sure thing. Just too small to keep, fun as Hell though
