Deer sightings
Mid to North Tangipahoa Parish. I have been seeing deer on the roads relatively often lately.
1 to 2 at a time mostly. On my way home from work yesterday,in an area along the road that I always see a doe, I saw a brand new fawn. Just as shiny brown as could be, with spots as white as snow!!! Just laying down next to the woods.

Tender new growth grass and forbs after bushogging attracts them. Same thing will happen at your hunting spot use your tractors all year long . Deer nor cattle prefer older tough grass and forbs .
