Slack or very little tide

Just wondering if fishing the surf at Grand Isle state park is any good on a slack or very little tide movement?

Thanks for the info. I would never cancel s trip a day of fishimg is better then a day of just about any thing elese. I can't wait untill Tuesday AM I will be on the beach for 4 nights and 5 days looking foward to a lot of relaxing a fish or 2 will be a bonus
